Next.js Developer

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Next.js Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using Next.js, React.js, and other modern front-end technologies. You will work closely with our product team to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code, creating responsive web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:Develop new user-facing features using Next.js, React.js, and other relevant technologiesBuild reusable components and front-end libraries for future useCollaborate with product managers and designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality codeOptimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsersConduct code reviews, share knowledge, and provide technical guidance to team membersWork closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logicStay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and apply them into operations and activitiesParticipate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Requirements:Strong proficiency in JavaScript.Extensive experience with Next.js and React.jsSolid understanding of front-end build tools such as Webpack, Babel, etc.Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux or Context APIFamiliarity with CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESSExperience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handlingAbility to write clean, maintainable, and efficient codeExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required)Optional-Experience with TypeScript, server-side rendering, SEO best practicesOptional-Previous experience with test-driven development (TDD)
