WordPress Developer Requirements and Qualifications:Know how to do PSD to HTML To WordPress/ PSD to WordPress.Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.Experience designing and developing responsive design websitesComfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome Inspector, etc.Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsersAbility to convert comprehensive layouts and wireframes into working HTML pagesProficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial.Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer programming, computer science, or a related field.

WordPress Developer duties and responsibilities:Liaise with fellow developers.Design, implement, and manage websites using WordPress.Manage front-end and back-end website development.Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code.Troubleshoot and resolve website problems for clients and co-workers.Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture.Ensuring high performance and availability and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
