Overview:We are on the hunt for a skilled WordPress Developer with a knack for bringing creative web designs to life. Our ideal candidate is someone who can expertly navigate the complexities of WordPress, with a special focus on utilizing Elementor Pro to its fullest potential. This role requires a balance of technical prowess and creative finesse, as you'll be in charge of producing a WordPress website that is not only visually appealing but also high-performing and secure. If you have a talent for plugin management and website speed optimization and possess basic CSS and JavaScript skills to customize user experiences when standard plugins don’t measure up, you’re the one we’re looking for.

Responsibilities:Web Development Mastery: Build out pages meticulously following Figma design mockups, ensuring each page not only matches the artistic vision but is also optimized for performance.Plugin Management: Take charge of managing plugins, focusing on ensuring cross-plugin compatibility and bolstering website security.SEO Implementation: Employ SEO best practices for on-page optimization to enhance the site's visibility. (Note: Training will be provided for those less familiar with SEO).Elementor Pro Management: Harness the full capabilities of Elementor Pro to craft engaging and dynamic web pages.Uptime Assurance: Commit to maintaining a 99.999% uptime for our website, guaranteeing a reliable and seamless user experience.

Skills and Qualifications:Proven Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience with WordPress websites, showcasing a portfolio of past projects.Elementor Pro Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Elementor Pro, demonstrating the ability to utilize it for advanced web development.Security Savvy: A solid understanding of common WordPress vulnerabilities and best practices for securing WordPress sites.CSS & JS Knowledge: Basic proficiency in CSS and JavaScript to achieve pixel-perfect design implementation and enhance site functionality.Collaborative Spirit: Experience collaborating with marketing and design teams to execute web development tasks effectively.

Bonus Skills and Qualifications:Familiarity with WordPress’s PHP Codex.Experience in plugin and theme development.Knowledge of AWS DevOps.

Soft Skills:Exceptional communication skills, both written and spoken English.Strong problem-solving capabilities.Effective time management skills.

Location and Work Arrangement:Remote Position: This role is fully remote, but candidates must be able to work during US Mountain Time hours.Employment Type: Contractor position, with a requirement of 40 hours per week.Duration: This is a continuous position, not temporary.
