Senior Rails Developer Permanent ¦¦ Remote TechHeads is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Rails Developer to join our client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, with extensive experience in the Ruby on Rails framework. This role involves both developing new features and improving existing ones across various projects, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability of applications. Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code.Develop back-end components for web applications, ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.Integrate data storage solutions, including both relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.Implement front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, ReactJS, VueJS) to create a seamless user experience.Work with cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, Heroku) and set up deployment scripts using tools like Capistrano and Mina.Utilize Docker for containerized applications and manage background processing tools (Sidekiq, Resque).Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization through continuous integration and testing frameworks (RSpec, Capybara, Selenium).Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with team members across different layers of the infrastructure. Requirements: Proven work experience as a Senior Rails Developer or similar role.In-depth understanding of the Ruby on Rails framework and object-oriented programming.Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, ReactJS, VueJS).Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, DigitalOcean, Heroku) and deployment tools (Capistrano, Mina).Strong knowledge of Docker and containerized applications.Experience with background processing tools (Sidekiq, Resque).Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git).Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
