Hi There, This is Laura from CI&T! I am a Talent Attraction Analyst looking for a Mid Level Android Developer in Colombia

We are on the lookout for a skilled and innovative Android Developer to become a vital part of our dynamic team. In this role, you will take on the responsibility of designing and developing advanced applications for the Android platform.

Collaborating closely with our product development and design teams, you will have the opportunity to conceptualize, build, test, and deploy applications that not only enhance user experiences but also reach millions of users worldwide.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining advanced applications for the Android platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and ship new features. Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging. Write clean, maintainable code while rapidly iterating and shipping features. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance. Stay up-to-date with new technology trends, applications, and protocols.

Requirements

Advanced English communication skills. Over 3 years of proven work experience as an Android Developer. Good knowledge and practical experience in Java and Kotlin. Familiarity with the Android SDK and different Android versions. Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services. Experience with offline storage, threading, and tuning for performance. Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.

Nice To Have

Experience with continuous integration. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications. Advanced understanding of secure coding practices and app security. Experience with ReactJS Experience with additional programming languages or mobile development platforms.
