Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Web Game Developer. As a Web Game Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web-based games. Your day-to-day tasks will include designing and implementing game mechanics, creating interactive gameplay features, and optimizing game performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including game designers, artists, and backend developers to create engaging and immersive gaming experiences.

Qualifications

Proficiency in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptExperience with game development frameworks and libraries such as Phaser, Unity, or Unreal EngineStrong understanding of game design principles and player psychologyExperience in creating and implementing interactive game mechanicsKnowledge of server-side programming languages such as Node.js or PHPExperience in integrating with APIs and web servicesUnderstanding of version control systems such as GitProblem-solving skills and ability to debug and optimize codeStrong communication and teamwork skillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field
