OverviewPlease note: We are a remote-first organization so you can work from anywhere in India/Country Name. You may be required to travel to our Mumbai/Location office based on business requirements or for company/team events.

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our WordPress-based projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress architecture, theme and plugin development, and best practices. They should be passionate about creating efficient, scalable, and user-friendly WordPress solutions.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the design, development, and the product teams to implement WordPress-based websites, themes, and plugins.Customize existing themes and plugins to meet project requirements.Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.Optimize WordPress websites for performance, speed, and scalability.Troubleshoot and debug issues related to WordPress websites and applications.Stay updated on the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices.Provide technical support and guidance to team members and internal stakeholders.Excellent knowledge of converting a design template to HTML/WordPress theme.Managing and maintaining all the WordPress websites.

Qualifications And PrerequisitesBachelor’s degree in computer science engineering, or a related field with over 5 years of experience.Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of WordPress projects.Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS/Tailwind CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.Familiarity with front-end development frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation.Strong understanding of responsive design principles.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:Experience with other content management systems (CMS) such as Drupal.Knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques.Experience with version control systems such as Git.Familiarity with web hosting environments and server configurations.
