Application/Product Developer-SQL EPIC 100 % Remote

Our direct client, a New York based hospital, is seeking a Product Developer with application development experience for a long term consulting engagement. This position is 100 % Remote Skills:

EXPERIENCE WITH EPIC HEALTHS RECORDS SYSTEM IS REQUIRED

Compensation - $ 90-95 per hour W2.-NO 3RD PARTIES PLEASE

SQL Server Integration Services- 5 Years.SQL Server Management Studio and Microsoft SQL- 5 Years.Visual C#/Python- 5 Years.Excel programming- 5 Years.Access programming- 5 Years.Proven ability to work with large data sets- 5 Years.Experience with Epic- 5 Years.

Description:

Creates commercial software products by utilizing the latest programming languages and technologies. Adheres to software development lifecycle and analyzes and designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software.

Duties:Utilize current programming languages and technologies to develop and write computer programs for the development of commercialized products.Participate in beta testing of new tools and technologies.Modify/upgrade existing versions of software products.Develop automated unit test programs within software.Work with Business Systems Analysts or work directly with users to gather information regarding application requirement sand specifications.Improve other quality of service requirements such as usability, availability and security.Work with QA Engineers to reproduce and resolve defects at the system level.Conduct technology research and share findings with peers.Adhere to software development best practices and lifecycle models such as RUP or Scrum.Convert project specifications and statements of problems and procedures into detailed software models that comply with standards.Build deployment packages to ensure the quality of installation of new applications, service packs and/or upgrades.Build scripts and use tools to automate application and database builds, deployment, unit tests and system tests in various QA environments.
