This position allows for remote work from any location in the United States, with flexible working hours between 9-5pm or 10-6pm. We are open to both contract and regular employment, depending on the candidate's preference and fit within our team.

Your Role:As a Xamarin Developer at Cross Platform Developer, you will be instrumental in crafting high-performance applications using Xamarin Forms and Xamarin Native for both iOS and Android platforms. Your expertise will bridge the gap between elegant, natively compiled applications and cross-platform development efficiency. Working closely with our design and development teams, you will ensure our applications not only meet but exceed our user's expectations in functionality and design.

Key Responsibilities:Design and develop cross-platform mobile applications using Xamarin.Forms and Xamarin.Native.Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly designs.Integrate with backend services to ensure a seamless operation between the front-end and back-end of our applications.Conduct thorough testing to identify bugs and improve application performance across all target platforms.Maintain code integrity and organization, including ensuring code compatibility with all devices and operating systems.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in mobile technology and cross-platform development to continually enhance our offerings.

Technical Requirements:Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Framework.Demonstrated experience with Xamarin.Forms and Xamarin.Native for developing cross-platform mobile applications.Understanding of RESTful APIs to connect Xamarin applications to back-end services.Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.Solid understanding of the mobile development life cycle.Experience with code versioning tools, such as Git.Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.Proficiency in writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code.Experience with performance tuning, memory management, and optimizing app performance for both iOS and Android.

Experience:2+ years of experience in Xamarin mobile development.A strong portfolio showcasing your work on cross-platform mobile applications, including any personal, freelance, or open-source projects.Who You Are:Passionate about mobile technology and cross-platform development.A problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.Capable of working independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting.A strong communicator, able to collaborate effectively with a distributed team.Eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
