Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role for a Senior VB.net Developer. As a Senior VB.net Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining VB.net applications, participating in the entire software development life cycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to technical discussions and decision-making. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and providing technical support, as well as identifying areas for code optimization and improvement.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test web applications using VB.NET.Implement efficient and reusable code following best practices and coding standards.Perform database development and optimization using MS SQL and/or MySQL.Troubleshoot and debug existing code to identify and resolve issues.Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth project execution and knowledge sharing.Clearly communicate technical concepts and progress to both technical and non-technical audiencesWork independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in VB.NET developmentStrong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patternsExperience with MS SQL and/or MySQL database development and administration.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Experience working with US clients and willingness to work overlapping hours (preferred)
