Salesforce CPQ Developer

Our client, a Fortune 500 company and member of the S&P 500 Index, is a leading multi-brand provider of information technology solutions to business, government, education, and healthcare customers in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

This role is open to applicants in both the United States and Canada as it will be fully remote.

As a Salesforce CPQ Developer, you will support business processes through technology solutions. Your role involves developing business software solutions for complex and large-scale projects, encompassing object and data modelling, database design, programming, quality assurance, and implementation support. You will participate in application standards development and serve as an evangelist for best practices.

Responsibilities:

Software Development Lifecycle: Lead all stages of the software development lifecycle, from planning to implementation, ensuring project goals are met.Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to determine requirements, costs, and resource needs, ensuring efficient project execution.Architecture Planning: Participate in application architecture planning to ensure optimal solution architecture, scalability, and efficiency.Design and Prototyping: Develop high-level system narratives, storyboards, and detailed design specifications for technical teams.Quality Assurance: Create and execute system test plans to maintain software quality and validate business objectives.Resource Management: Develop detailed project estimates, including resource allocation, timelines, and budget.Coding Standards: Adhere to coding standards and ensure high-quality software development.Technical Leadership: Make informed technical decisions, mentor team members, and ensure timely project completion.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.Experience: Minimum of 2 years of application development experience.Salesforce Ecosystem: Proficiency in Salesforce ecosystem and lightning framework, including Visualforce, APEX, Force.com APIs, Web Services, and Experience builder.Salesforce CPQ: Experience with Salesforce CPQ and integration with external systems and managed packages.Technical Skills: Familiarity with source control systems like Azure DevOps, GIT, and delivery of solutions in Agile methodology in CI/CD environments.Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, lead application development projects, and build productive working relationships cross-departmentally and cross-functionally.Customer Interaction: Ability to conduct technical briefings, demonstrations, and effectively engage with customers.Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Agile SAFe Framework, supporting large-scale Salesforce implementations, and performance optimization/tuning.
