ServiceNow CMDB Contractor Request Details:We need assistance with configuring our ServiceNow CMDB in support of several initiatives like TBM that rely on our inventory of IT assets and how these relate to our business applications to be correct. We are looking for a single contractor to augment our internal staff for the duration of 6 months. The work will be directed by internal team members with extensive expertise in this area. The start date is as soon as we can possibly identify and onboard a candidate. This initiative is approved by Mike VonSlomski and the TBM team around Curtis Cutler.In addition to profound foundational knowledge about configuring the ServiceNow platform, the contractor should have specialized skills in the area of Configuration Management and how to configure the ServiceNow CMDB. Familiarity with the data sources that we are currently pulling data from is desired, namely MS Azure, AWS, Solarwinds and SCCM. Javascript knowledge is also required for a successful completion of the planned activities, which are as follows:Configure the CMDB reconciliation engine to remove duplication of data coming from our data sources currently connected through Service Graph Connectors. Duplication is happening at the attribute level as well as the record level. The reasons for the data duplications have already been analyzed and are mostly understood.Modify existing Service Graph Connectors to pull in additional data and disable some classes that are not needed.Configure the Service Graph Connector for AWS to use different fields.Configure CI forms to show additional data coming from our sources.Configure current integrations to improve the import of database CI types.Create new CMDB integrations to a second SCCM instance, Cisco Meraki, Ubiquity, VMWare vCenter, and SOTI device management.Configure Data Manager policies.Assist the internal team with fulfilling enhancement requests for the ITSM application running on ServiceNow.Additional ServiceNow related developer tasks as directed by management.
