Next.JS React.JS Developer@ Mental Wellbeing Startup

We are a startup in the mental health space with over 15,000 users per month, seeking a senior developer or even a CTO to join us as a co-founder. This role is suited for an entrepreneurial full-stack developer who values contributing to a meaningful project over conventional employment.

🌐 ABOUT USWe started our journey 10 years ago with a social app that paired individuals based on IQ and personality tests. This company we sold 8 years ago but recently reacquired it. We are relaunching it with a renewed focus on promoting mental wellbeing through self-help groups. We have a robust team of psychologists, engineers, designers, project managers, and marketers.

🔧 YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESAs our co-founder and CTO, you will:Architect system designWork with our DevOps/server adminDrive key decisions within the development teamOversee the software development processCode yourself

🛠 TECH STACKOur tech stack comprises AWS servers, Docker, Github, Next.JS, Typescript, React, and Dart, Flutter.While you do not have to be an expert in our whole tech stack when you start, you should have an ambition to become one so that you can effectively manage the team adn do some coding yourself.

⏳ TIME COMMITMENT & COMPENSATIONThe initial involvement could be as low as 15 hours per week. Please note, we can only offer limited cash compensation, which may be less than what one could earn at a multinational company. However, your compensation will also include equity, under terms comparable to all other co-founders. You can choose to receive your compensation as cash or equity, with the cash component currently limited to only around 20% for every cofounder.
