Job Summary:Aeros provides software for agriculture, specifically specializing in the protein industries of egg layers, broilers, and turkey producers. Our customers range from 5th-generation family farms to the world’s largest integrated egg producer.

Our tools range from back-office functions such as accounting, financials, work orders, inventory, order through cash, procurement through payables, and specialty applications for the farms to handle flock accounting, feed schedules, and egg projections.

Aeros, part of the Cultura family, has an immediate opening for a Software Developer Team Lead. We are a 100% remote working company.

Job Description:This customer-centric Lead Software Developer may alter existing software, install new software, create custom solutions, and troubleshoot any problems related to the performance of computer systems. This position is expected to be an expert in .Net development, APIs, and T-SQL.

Required Qualifications:Recommending appropriate tools, technologies, and processes for the development of scalable and software solutionsEstablishing coding standards, guidelines, and project practicesValidating solutions and obtaining customer feedbackCreating software documentation and providing ticket supportMust be able to develop in Visual Studio 2019 or later using C#/.Net.Strong written and oral communication skills to interact with our team and customers.Excellent time management, particularly the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in line with business objectives.Ability to work effectively and lead a team with shared objectives.10 – 15 years of C#, .Net, and T-SQL experience

Preferred Qualifications:Ability to understand business rules from the customer’s perspective.General accounting knowledge, such as general ledger, AP/AR, including knowledge of the sub-ledger activity and how it posts to the general ledger for accrual and cash basis accounting.Strong research & reconciliation skills.Experience with Azure DevOps source control (git)Experience in the agriculture industry is a plus
