Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities
Develops the ServiceNow application including configuration, report development and data migration, where applicablePerforms custom development in ServiceNow (as required) and 3rd party integrations.Carries out unit-testing and defect resolution. Carries out migration of the changes to production.Assists with technical design and documentation.Collaborates with internal stakeholders and team members to build solutions in ServiceNow that support business requirements.
Required Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Eng or related field5+ years technical software development experience, preferably in ServiceNow or other low-code platforms2+ years of JavaScript coding/development skills in ServiceNow environments, preferably in IT Service Management, Field Service Management and/or Enterprise Asset ManagementUnderstanding of JavaScriptDemonstrated experience with ServiceNow administration capability and can design, build, and customize ServiceNow applications and services.Able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies
Uses SCRUM/Agile development methodologies. Documents and follows established processes for both operational and agile/project development work.Demonstrated experience with various ServiceNow Products (ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, HR, SecOps, CSM, GRC, etc.)Proficiency in ServiceNow development, including scripting (JavaScript), UI policies, business rules, and client scripts by employing ServiceNow and coding best practices.
Clearance:
Public Trust will need to be acquired
Certification
ServiceNow System Admin certification required (admin or higher)
