Our client, TUI, is a global business with over 70 000 people on board, great history, and challenging plans for building a digital future. TUI is the largest leisure, travel, and tourism company globally, and it owns travel agencies, hotels, airlines, cruise ships and retail shops.

About Project

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing an existing set of content applications, using a range of technologies including AWS, Node.js, Java, AngularJS and more. So you will be part of one of our content team but with special focus on supporting an existing system and deliver high value cages and enhancements on this “platform” It is key you are a person that enjoy working both alone and in pair to solve tasks at hand. You will also be working closely with our PO and or Local market stakeholders. You are familiar working with the agile SCRUM methodology and is goos at quickly get understanding of existing new platform.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance (web) applications.Work with AWS services to build a robust cloud infrastructure.Develop backend services using Node.js and Java.Be comfortable to work with AngularJS as frontend framework and be able to work with a feature from backend to frontend.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Ensure code quality, organization, and automatization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in full-stack development.Experienced JAVA (EE) developerStrong proficiency in AWS, Node.js, Java, and database technologies.Expertise in Angular. Experience in other reactive frontend technologies such as React, Vue.js is a plus.Proven experience in building complex, scalable web applications.Solid understanding of the full web development life cycle.

Nice To Have

Experience with Weblogic application server, Quarkus, ActiveMQ is a preference.
