This full-time, remote position is available to candidates throughout the United States, offering flexible working hours between 9-5pm or 10-6pm. Cross Platform Developer offers both contract and regular employment options, aiming to find the perfect fit for our team and the successful candidate.

Your Role:As a Backend Python Developer at Cross Platform Developer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and maintenance of server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application, so a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain robust and scalable backend services and APIs using Python.Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.Implement security and data protection solutions.Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.Design and implement data storage solutions.Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the development process.

Technical Requirements:Strong proficiency in Python, with solid experience in backend development.Experience with Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Pyramid.Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.Understanding of database systems, both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3) for seamless integration.Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Docker containers is a plus.

Experience:3+ years of professional experience in Python backend development.Demonstrated track record of developing and managing high-performance, scalable applications.Experience working in agile development teams.
