Frontend Developer

Filament, operating at the bleeding edge of DeFi, is seeking a talented and dedicated Frontend Developer specialized in React and Next.js to join our dynamic team. This role demands a high level of proficiency in front-end development, an eagerness to tackle challenging projects, and the flexibility to manage ad-hoc requirements with a positive attitude.

ResponsibilitiesFrontend Development: Build scalable and maintainable web applications using React and Next.js. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and translate them into high-quality code.Performance Optimization: Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Leverage Next.js features for server-side rendering and static site generation to enhance user experience.Collaboration: Work closely with the design and backend teams to ensure seamless integration of the frontend with other components of the application. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and encourage knowledge sharing.Responsive Design: Ensure the creation of responsive designs that offer an optimal user experience across various devices and screen sizes.Ad-hoc Tasks: Be prepared to tackle ad-hoc tasks as they arise, including but not limited to debugging issues, exploring new technologies, and contributing to team discussions on best practices.

QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in front-end development with a strong proficiency in React and Next.js. Full-stack experience is a significant bonus.Technical Skills: Expert understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Familiarity with server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS, is preferred. Experience with RESTful services and APIs.Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex development challenges and deliver solutions in a timely manner.Adaptability: Willingness to work long hours on challenging projects. Ability to adapt to new technologies and project requirements swiftly and efficiently.Communication: Excellent communication skills are required to collaborate effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
