What we’re looking for:Our client base is constantly growing and we’re looking for great software engineers to make our team better. The Developer Experience team at Iodine is responsible for enabling developers for speed and efficiency through optimizing coding, build, deployment and observability of an application. As a Developer Experience Engineer, you will be a key contributor to building and maintaining tooling and processes for our product development teams. The role will be a mix of design and building internal tools and standards, implementing 3rd party tooling, as well as influencing culture and best practices across our engineering organization.

What you’ll do: Work with product teams and engineering leadership to help implement vision for Iodine’s Software Development LifecycleDevelop and run efficient and reliable internal toolingEnable development teams to efficiently run software in production, including best practices for observability and monitoringWork closely with other Developer Experience engineersInstall and maintain 3rd party software and tooling

What we’d love to see: Minimum Requirements:BS in Computer Science or related area2+ years of software development experienceExperience with or implementing build pipelines or observability frameworksProficiency in one or more programming languages including Java, NodeJS, Python or GoExperience building applications with DockerExperience running applications in KubernetesBe self driven with a desire for automation and process improvement

Preferred Requirements:Experience in regulated environment such as PCI or HIPAAExperience with Ansible
