HCL Commerce Solution Developer

Position: HCL/IBM WCS Solution DeveloperCompany: Cloud LogicxLocation: Remote (USA) Cloud Logicx is seeking a seasoned HCL commerce Solution Developer with a background in the Finance/Insurance sector to collaborate remotely with our prominent client based in the USA.Responsibilities:Lead the design and architecture of solutions, particularly within the HCL Commerce (v9.x) domain, covering all stages from requirement analysis to maintenance and troubleshooting of high transaction eCommerce applications.Translate business requirements into robust software solutions, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.Utilize industry-specific tools such as HPQC and JIRA to streamline development processes and ensure project efficiency.Develop B2C eCommerce applications using WebSphere Commerce V9, focusing on Catalog Member Order and Payment Subsystems.Demonstrate proficiency in WCS architecture and its functionalities, along with hands-on experience in setting up development environments.Apply SQL concepts effectively in solution development and possess a comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.Exhibit strong debugging and problem-solving skills, employing system development methodologies and techniques.Display a high level of commitment, adaptability, and resilience, thriving in fast-paced environments.Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork.Leverage expertise in JSP, JavaScript, JSTL, Ajax, Dojo refresh areas, as well as server-side component development using Java EE, EJB, Struts, and Hibernate.Develop integration layer components utilizing Java Web Services (SOAP, WSDL) and Restful APIs.Demonstrate familiarity with RDBMS concepts, including SQL tuning, data modelling, and creating tables/views for MySQL, Oracle, and IBM DB2.Participate in projects delivered in both Waterfall and Agile SDLCs, incorporating software design patterns and CI/CD pipeline practices.Possess a solid understanding of Public Cloud providers/services, particularly Azure/AWS.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, preferably within the Finance/Insurance sector.In-depth expertise in HCL Commerce/IBM WebSphere Commerce, with a track record of successful solution design and implementation.Strong proficiency in industry-standard tools such as HPQC, JIRA, and familiarity with Public Cloud providers/services.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders.Relevant certifications in cloud computing, software development, or related areas are a plus.Join our dynamic team at Cloud Logicx and play a key role in shaping innovative solutions for our clients in the USA.
