Job Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Quantum Software Developer to join our Cybersecurity Development team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing advanced quantum cybersecurity solutions, leveraging quantum computing to enhance our cybersecurity infrastructure. This role encompasses research, development, and deployment of quantum-resistant algorithms and technologies, aiming to secure data transmission and detect vulnerabilities in a post-quantum world.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop a quantum cybersecurity solution that utilizes quantum-resistant encryption algorithms to secure data communications.- Integrate Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) techniques for secure encryption key exchange.- Implement protocols for secure tunnelling of data over Internet connections.- Create a quantum cybersecurity solution capable of detecting vulnerabilities and assessing the security posture of systems against quantum computing threats.- Conduct research on quantum computing and post-quantum cryptography.- Optimize performance of quantum cybersecurity software for reliable connections.- Ensure cross-platform compatibility of quantum cybersecurity solutions.- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams for integrating quantum technologies into existing security infrastructure.- Participate in developing protocols and standards for quantum-safe cybersecurity practices.- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations, staying updated with quantum computing and cybersecurity advancements.- Document development processes and solutions, providing training on quantum computing concepts and technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Quantum Computing, Cybersecurity, or a related field.- Proven experience in quantum computing and/or cryptography.- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Q#, or C++.- Familiarity with quantum computing frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq) and classical cryptographic protocols.- Experience with developing secure communication protocols.- Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-experts and work collaboratively.- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to technology advancement.
Preferred Qualifications:- Published research in quantum computing or cryptography.- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms and services.- Prior experience in developing quantum cybersecurity solutions.- Knowledge of network security and vulnerabilities.
