VB6 and classic ASP developer

Minimum 5-8 Years of experience in Full Stack development with VB6, Classic ASP, C# and .NET technologies. Desired to have work experience with US based customers.

Proven experience to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using VB6, Classic ASP, C# VBScript, and JavaScript and .NET technologies.

Experience with legacy system maintenance, support and upgrades.

Should be able to develop and maintain database schemas, write SQL queries, Stored Procedures, functions and optimize database performance, preferably in MS SQL.

Should be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in existing VB6, Classic ASP, C# code.

Should have hands on experience migrating Legacy code/application to the newer technologies.

Optimize code for improved performance, scalability, and security.

Should be able to perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure the reliability and stability of software applications. Identify and resolve bugs and performance issues.

Must have good documentation skills to maintain documentation for code changes, application architecture, and system configurations.

Must have hands-on experience to implement and maintain security best practices to protect against vulnerabilities and data breaches.

Provide support and assistance to end-users, diagnosing and resolving technical issues as needed.

Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and jQuery. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, TFS, etc.)

Should be able to perform code deployments, handle releases as per business needs.

Understanding of the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural pattern.

Experience with integrating APIs into web applications.

Familiarity with RESTful API development.

Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies, and make recommendations for improvements.

Ready to work in Night shifts to provide Production support to US based customer (6:30 pm IST to 3:30 am IST) +/- Daylight changes.
