What’s ByteBrew:ByteBrew is the all-in-one mobile game analytics platform that gives game developers everything their games need to grow for free!What you’ll be doing:As a Backend Engineer at ByteBrew, you’ll be a vital part of the core engineering team that builds dynamic, easy-to-use and performant dashboard experiences for thousands of game developers using ByteBrew everyday. The innovative work you do as a team member on ByteBrew, will be utilized by thousands of games that reach billions of users across the globe.You’ll work directly with the engineering team to:Build scalable backend systems that can ingest billions of events with quick response timesSolve technical challenges with your team members in a live backend environmentDeploy new microservices to expand new products on ByteBrew and breakdown monolithic code projects into smaller microservicesExcel in a fast-paced, independent, and creative environmentUtilize languages such as: C#/.NET, NodeJS, and Java for code deployed on clouds such as AWS, GCP and AzureWe’re looking for someone with:3+ years experience in the following languages/frameworks: Java, C#/.NET, NodeJS, C++3+ years software development experience with backend/infrastructure systemsExperience deploying microservices with Cloud Providers like GCP, Azure; using containers for Kubernetes or other app servicesUsed one or more of the following NoSQL databases: DynamoDB, DocumentDB, Google Bigtable, MongoDBUsed one or more of the following Data Warehouses: Hadoop, Redshift, BigQueryExperience with one or more of the following: Apache Kafka, Apache Beam or other messaging and Data batching servicesDeveloped or worked in game development, mobile apps or game enginesHave created DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
