Contract Windows UI Developer – C#

Company Overview:At Verbalista, our mission is to break the language barrier. We’re building a communication assistant for multilingual teams in Latin America to work across languages more efficiently.

Job Description:We are seeking a Windows developer with a strong background in C#, WinUI, and UI Automation to join our team for 3 months, with a possible extension. Your role will be pivotal in evolving and refining Verbalista’s Windows application, enhancing the user experience across our platform.

Responsibilities:Work directly with the founding team to develop and maintain a Windows application.Convert product and design requirements into discrete engineering tasks.Conduct exhaustive testing to guarantee the user experience aligns perfectly with design specifications.Proactively diagnose, troubleshoot, and rectify any issues, ensuring seamless integration across various applications.

Qualifications:Expertise in C# and .NET ecosystem.In-depth understanding of UI Automation APIs.Competency in WinUI 3 / WinRT and familiarity with WebView2.A solid track record in developing Windows applications, with a particular focus on exceptional user experience.Experience with accessibility tools and technologies.Understanding of UX/UI Design Principles.Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to have:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.English fluency is not required, but preferred.

Interview Expectations:Candidates must be able to provide examples of previous Windows applications they built and explain the development process in detail.The interview process consists of two rounds: a phone screen and a technical test.
