Senior Java Full Stack Developer

Role: Full Stack Java DeveloperLocation: RomaniaResponsibilities:Develop and maintain backend components using Java (Zulu Enterprise OpenJDK V. 11.x), Jakarta 8 (JEE), Junit, Cucumber, Apache POI, Maven, and Docker.Design and implement frontend solutions using Angular and Ext JS.Manage databases including Oracle, SQL, and Flyway for schema migrations and version control.Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and project timelines.Ensure code quality, performance, and security through code reviews, testing, and best practices.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.Communicate project progress, issues, and solutions effectively with team members and stakeholders.Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for project management and collaboration.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Proven experience as a Full Stack Java Developer with expertise in backend technologies such as Java, Jakarta EE, Junit, Cucumber, Maven, and Docker.Strong knowledge of frontend development using Angular and Ext JS.Experience with Oracle, SQL, and Flyway for database management and migrations.Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Github Actions and Jenkins.Fluency in German language (spoken and written) is required.Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for project management and collaboration.Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Agile development methodologies.Certification in Java or related technologies.Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.About SmartChoice International:Smartchoice International is your premier staffing agency committed to assembling the ideal team for your business while seamlessly connecting top-tier talent with exceptional opportunities.
