We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Java Developer to join us in shaping the future of lending at HES FinTech.

ResponsibilitiesMaintaining ongoing developmentRefactoring of current projects and suggesting ideas for project optimizationProviding technical leadership for the development teamConducting code reviewsMentoring and team developmentCommunication with a customerSupplying and supporting deliveries to customersBeing able to travel on business trips, acting as a technical specialist

RequirementsExperience5+ years of development/engineering experience, preferably in the fintech industryTechnical SkillsStrong Java programming skills with expertise in Spring, Spring Boot, HibernateProficiency in development practices including unit testing, CI/CD, refactoring, and clean codeGood knowledge of Camunda BPM for business process managementUnderstanding of web protocols and technologies (HTTP, TCP, SSL, WebSockets) with principles of cryptography for securing sensitive dataUnderstanding of principles of building REST API with knowledge of OpenAPI for API documentation generationWorking knowledge of relational databases (Postgres)Familiarity with Docker and containerization conceptsExpertise in multi-threading development and synchronization patternsExperience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS, for deployment and scalabilitySoft SkillsGood communication skills and the ability to guide the team through challenges faced by less experienced developersExperience in team motivation and mentoringLanguage ProficiencyGood technical English verbal/writing skills (B2)

Nice to haveExperience in developing scalable platforms using KubernetesWorking knowledge of client-side web technologies (React)Understanding of development methodologies (both agile and non-agile)
