Senior Full Stack Developer (ReactJS, Rails)

Our AI-first approach helps advisors spend less time on middle-office tasks and more time concentrating on building strong, genuine connections with clients.

We recently closed our pre-seed round to scale our AI infrastructure and are looking to bring on board an exceptional Senior Full Stack Developer! That person will have the ability to be entrepreneurial, wear many hats, thrive in the uncertain environment that an early-stage startup is, and most importantly, show initiative and challenge existing norms.

Location:AdvisoryAI's headquarters is located in central London and our Asia office is located in Kuala Lumpur. We would love to work together in our office. However, we could consider remote work and meet in the office a few days each month.

In this role, you will:Architect, design, and implement advanced frontend features using React, Next.js, and other modern web technologies.Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create seamless, intuitive, and visually engaging user experiences.Optimize frontend performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth interactions across devices.Implement robust testing and quality assurance processes to maintain a high bar for code quality and reliability.Mentor and guide junior full stack developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and industry best practices, and propose innovative solutions to complex problems.

What you’ll bring:7+ years of experience in full stack development, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, React, Next.js, Ruby on Rails, HTML, and CSS.Deep understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization.Strong experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress and RSpec.Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and ability to collaborate effectively with design teams.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to break down complex features into manageable tasks.Familiar with AWS cloud services.Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working in agile teams.

Added Advantage If You:Experience working with AI-powered applications and understanding of AI/ML concepts.Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js or Python.Contributions to open-source projects or experience leading frontend initiatives.Knowledge of the finance industry and passion for democratizing access to financial advice.
