Project Team
You will be part of a team that is responsible for delivering and supporting a world-class Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solution. You’ll develop responsive front-end components leveraging the Bootstrap framework. Your role will span all aspects of the AEM Authoring experience including building pages in AEM, training authors, understanding website/authoring issues, and enhancement requests. You must have strong technical skills and be able to develop using the latest front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JS). Ideally, you should have some exposure to backend programming languages (Java, Groovy) and be eager to expand that knowledge.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)5-7 years of proven experience as an AEM Developer, including custom component development and integration with AEM platformStrong proficiency in Java, HTML, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies used in AEM developmentCompetency in working with content management systems (CMS). Adobe Experience Manager preferredExposure to developing new functionality (templates and components) in Content Management SystemFamiliarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) and their integration with AEMExpertise in AEM Core Components and AEM Touch UI developmentKnowledge of AEM administration, including user permissions, configurations, and system maintenanceUnderstanding of software development methodologies, version control systems, and CI/CD processes

Experience developing in Adobe AEM/CQ products (WCM, DAM, CQSE, CRX)Familiarity with Java and Groovy and an eagerness to expand knowledge

Translate business goals into technical requirements, conduct code/design reviews, and drive the technical implementation of web projects throughout the project lifecycleWork with adjacent development teams to implement integrated technical solutionsDevelop front-end code in a timely and high-quality manner while leveraging site standards including site structure, page templates, navigation, and the site information architectureBuild AEM authoring components and templatesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable and stable web solutions that meet business needsUtilize AEM to layout pages, troubleshoot issues, and train authors of the systemAssign tasks and coordinate with offshore resourcesPartner with Visual Design and User Experience teams to develop effective/engaging designsUtilize reusable templates and common HTML elements while leveraging centralized JQuery/JavaScript libraries and global CSSUse a shared standards library to be used by all web teamsHelp with day-to-day operational tasks and assist in ensuring the quality of our websiteOwn and drive specific area(s) of website functionality such as search, videos, web site performance – including but not limited to: triage issues in those areas, prioritize enhancement stories, develop features for those areas of responsibilityWork in an agile, rapid development, and prototyping environmentWrite user stories with effective problem statements, acceptance criteria, and qualification activities
