Python Developer (Automotive Software)

Project overview

We are looking for a Python Developer (Automotive Software) to join our Randstad Digital Romania team in an Automotive Project. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be part of the Product Engineering teams that follows Agile development practices, whilst being responsible with the automation of software activities. In this project you will be collaborating and supporting various global software project teams, as well as be involved in a dynamic team which is focused on implementing optimized solutions, growing team knowledge and providing the best results.

Responsibilities

Be part of the development team for Continuous Integration, Delivery and Deployment Frameworks that support the building, static analysis, testing, quality documentation generation and packages publishing.Contribute to the architecture of the Python based frameworks to support multiple software products.Support the Software Development Teams with fixes and features for the Continuous Integration Frameworks.Develop and automate software installer solutions for our client automotive software products.Manage licensing and deployment of the software products.Develop expertise and knowledge in writing automation scripts and using tools for automating build and release processes.Investigate new solutions for automating new development flows and optimizing current ones (Docker, microservices, etc).

Requirements

At least 4 years of work experience in Python development;Previous experience in OOP development and using Git;Agile and flexible with changing priorities in working with diverse teams and people;Customer-oriented person;Excellent problem-solving skills – able to identify, analyze and propose solutions;Fluency in English written and spoken;BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or related fields

Nice to have

Previous experience in development of automated build/test software;Hands on experience with CI/CD frameworks (Jenkins, Bamboo);Experience with version control systems (Git).
