Senior AI Frontend Developer

Project DescriptionAs an AI Frontend Developer, your primary responsibility is to design and implement user interfaces for AI-powered applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI researchers and (AI) backend developers, to create seamless and visually appealing interfaces that enhance the user experience of our AI products. Your role is crucial in bridging the gap between AI technology and user interaction, ensuring a user-friendly and efficient frontend for our cutting-edge applications.

Responsibilities1. Building high-traffic user interfaces depending on your area of expertise2. Cooperating with Engineers, Product Managers, QAs, and Designers to ship new components and features by utilizing our Design System3. Drafting architectural decisions together with the Engineering Manager and Solution Architect, and exploring new technologies4. Contributing on team processes via active participation in regular retrospectives5. Exchanging your knowledge with other Engineers and being part of our One C&A Family6. As senior you are acting as a mentor to less experienced colleagues, supporting them on their learning journey whilst further developing your own leadership skills7. Being an active participant in team processes, offering insights in regular retrospectives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.8. For senior roles, mentoring junior colleagues and nurturing their professional growth while enhancing your leadership capabilities.

Mandatory Skills Description1. Frontend Development Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frontend frameworks (e.g., React or Node JS)2. AI Integration: Understanding of how to integrate AI models and services into frontend applications, including handling data flow and interactions.3. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure or Cloudflare) and their AI services is advantageous.4. User Interface Design: Strong design sensibility and experience working with UX/UI designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.5. Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, AI researchers, and other stakeholders.6. Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and develop creative solutions to frontend development challenges.
