Linux Kernel Developer with VMware ESXi

We are actively seeking a highly skilled Linux Kernel Developer with specialized knowledge in VMware ESXi or BSD operating systems. This individual will play a key role in developing and maintaining kernel-level components, with a focus on enhancing performance and functionality.

Requirements: At least 3 years VMware ESXi, or Linux or BSD kernel development experience.Fluent in C programming language and kernel development environment (C++ or C).Kernel network device driver development experience on VMware ESXi with NDDK a big plus.Experiences in debugging the kernel crashes using kernel debugger and/or other methods.Ability to work in India business hours.Fluent in oral and written English.

Nice to have:Git or other source control tools (creating branches, merging/rebasing, solving conflicts, etc.)Experience in Python and Shell programming a plus.

Scope of the work: Work closely with an engineering team in Redmond, USA and India to deliver a kernel native network device driver for VMware ESXi 8.0 and upcoming 9.0 relesases.Document the design and code details.Pass the VMware certificate process when the driver is ready.Develop test cases for the device driver and integrate into existing test framework.
