Full Stack Developer - JavaScript / Angular / Java

We have an opportunity for a Full Stack Developer with solid experience working on front end to join our Registry & Document Processing Team forming a crucial part of our VideoID verification product.

VideoID is a fast, secure and compliant solution that allows our clients to securely scan international identity documentation using video-based verification techniques and obtain verified identity data in the identity proofing process. Comparing facial patterns and liveness checks to avoid identity fraud.

The Registry & Document Processing Team work to maintain and increase the wide variety of supported documents in our applications. Making us able to read information from ID Cards, Passports, Driving Licenses, etc. by capturing the information from the end user's camera. About the Role:You will be responsible for designing and developing user interfaces using Angular best practicesCollaborate with our UX designer and product ownerDefine requirements for maintainability, testability, performance, security, quality and usability for our UI platforms.Perform quality or UI or UX review of the web features developed by the full stack team members and finish off the product with an emphasis on the end-userThe majority of the time would be spent on the Front end side of things, however will also involve some work on back end tasks and so Full Stack experience is required.What we believe success looks like in a year from now in this role;Be proficient on frontend and backend frameworks and able to understand distributed application concepts, Angular + Java + MySQL preferredHave a good grasp of the business behind the UI

To succeed, we believe you have;

3-5 years of experience with at least a recent version of a JavaScript frontend framework (Angular, React, Svelte, Vue), a broader experience with other frontend frameworks is a plusExperience implementing backend services with Java + Spring Boot Strong affinity with user experience (UX) Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SCSS.Proficiency with NodeJs.Proficiency with package managers, like npm.Experience on writing frontend tests (Mocha, Jasmine, Karma, Cypress or similar).Experience using CI/CD, version control, and unit testing
