Job DescriptionNorseman Services is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to support projects of complex mission-critical programs. This candidate will have the opportunity to work with technical leaders in cyber, networking, computer science, and data analytics to develop the next generation technology platforms supporting Norseman customers. Individuals in this role are responsible for designing, implementing, and managing system and software architecture products and solutions on the ServiceNow platform for our customers. The ServiceNow Developer will apply best practices around ServiceNow core development, collaborate with team members, and proactively guide Government customers in the implementation of solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. Manage and support the full systems lifecycle from business requirement identification to translation into technical solution components, driving delivery to completion. ResponsibilitiesPerform application development and maintenance in a team environment utilizing ServiceNowParticipate in requirements gathering, technical design sessions, software development, reviews, and testingPerform ServiceNow administrative functions as requiredProficient in ensuring that applications are created using software development best practices and security best practices in a DOD environmentDesigns, develops, documents, tests, and debugs ServiceNow softwareDetermines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controlsPrepares operating instructionsJob Skills/Experience Strong understanding of the NOW platform3-5 years of experience, including but not limited to any of the following (in order of preference):SAM/HAMITOMCMDBMID Server/Integration Hub/API implementation/maintenanceITSMUI (Portal Development)Strong JavaScripting AJAX and other async techniques REST/API protocols Data skills including modelling, migrations, merges, and conversionsQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field Secret clearance preferred • Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled
