This full-time, remote position is open to candidates throughout the United States, offering flexible working hours between 9-5pm or 10-6pm. Your Role:As a PHP Developer at Hire PHP, you will be instrumental in developing high-quality web applications and solutions. Utilizing your expertise in PHP, you will work on a variety of projects, from developing web applications to integrating and maintaining backend services. Collaborating closely with our team of developers, project managers, and designers, you will contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:Write clean, secure, and efficient PHP code to develop high-performing web applications.Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from initial concept through planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in PHP development.

Technical Requirements:Proven software development experience in PHP.Understanding of open-source projects like Joomla, Drupal, WordPress, Symfony, Laravel, etc.Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, etc.Experience with relational databases, version control tools (such as Git), and developing web services.Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas.Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.Knowledge of integrating third-party APIs and building RESTful services.

Experience:3+ years of professional experience as a PHP Developer or similar role.Demonstrated ability to create and manage web applications for high-traffic websites.Experience in modern PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, etc.) is highly desirable.
