Job Type: Permanent / Full time Role: Power BI DeveloperDesignation: Consultant Location: Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai preferably. Remote also works Main activities: • Designing, developing, testing, and deploying automated Power BI solutions with key focus on Finance, Sales & Operations• Working with Power Query Editor and visual modeler to connect to different data sources and working on data models• Developing Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) queries that are performant against large datasets• Maintaining and improving current reports and BI solutions as well as user support• Working with Power BI Service for creating Dashboards / Reports / Apps and sharing them with business users (knowledge on access management RLS)• Produce bespoke training materials and courses for customers and internal teams• Introducing solutions based on various technologies (PowerBI, ETLs, Python, REST API integrations, SQL and others) to determine best combination to resolve a problem• Using source data to generate reports as per requirement• Maintaining performance and stability of BI systems• Maintaining and configure of the Power BI server (VM) Requirements:• Minimum 4+ years’ experience as independent Power BI developer/expert• Minimum 1+ year of experience in Power Automate• Strong communication skills• Ability to understand system complexity and translate technical concepts into solutions/applications• Experience in data modelling and data model normalization• Ability to analyze current ETL processes, and define and design new systems• Strong knowledge of DAX and Power Query M language (You’ll create data sources from SQL servers, ServiceNow, Excel spreadsheets and SharePoint and cloud connections, etc)• Expert understanding of Power BI services, workspaces and apps • Experience in use row-level security (RLS)• User-centered design concepts• Ability to work in a team.• Excellent collaboration skills Nice to have:• Experience in PowerApps• Experience in Python scripts and SQL programming• Experience in ServcieNow, and JIRA (also from the REST API side)• QlikView and Tableau would be nice to have but not essential.
