Sr Devops Developer with Azure (Remote)

Cognizant is looking for a multifaceted hands-on Sr Devops Developer with experience in Azure Devops and Azure platforms, to collaborate with project teams to design develop and implement software solutions on the Azure platform.

Job Location: Redmon, WA or Remote

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Design and implement secure scalable and resilient cloud architecture for various applications. Optimize application performance through monitoring tuning and troubleshooting. Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards. Participate in code reviews to maintain high development standards. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Azure services to enhance project outcomes. Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that align with business goals. Facilitate the migration of legacy systems to the Azure cloud platform. Develop automation scripts to streamline operations and reduce manual efforts. Contribute to the development of best practices for Azure application development.

Qualifications

Must have a strong foundation in Azure DevOps and Azure Platform services. Proven experience in cloud architecture design and implementation is required. Proficiency in programming languages such as C# .NET or Java is essential. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is highly desirable. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a must. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are crucial. Strong communication and collaboration skills are required to effectively work within cross-functional teams. A Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field is preferred.

The annual salary for this position is between $125,000 – $135,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
