AI Developer

As an AI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing artificial intelligence solutions to improve business processes, enhance decision-making capabilities, and drive innovation. This will not require developing brand-new approaches, but it will require simply assembling the right components to get the job done for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft Azure AI capabilities and a proven track record of implementing AI solutions using Azure, which went beyond experiments to create real impact. For this role we strongly prefer candidates from an applied, rather than R&D background, because the emphasis is on using pre-built AI services rather than discovering and building from scratch.

Essential Duties:Use your business acumen and communication skills to design and implement AI-powered solutions that are easy for customers to adopt and prove value quickly.Use your technical knowledge to integrate new AI technology with existing infrastructure to ensure solutions are robust and function to agreed quality and cost SLAs.Use your knowledge of how data is collected, stored and processed in small and large companies, to engineer effective data pipelines that power your AI solutions.Work effectively as part of the DevOn AI implementation team, especially our consultants who focus on defining the business problems to be solved with AI, to ensure that solutions proposed are actually feasible within the agreed scope.Documenting and productizing solutions delivered to customers so they can be repeated for other customers and built upon to deliver additional value.Keep abreast of advancements in AI, including new algorithms, frameworks, and tools, and evaluate their potential for enhancing existing solutions or developing new solutions.

Requirements:Strong evidence of having solved valuable business problems using data & AI, with an emphasis on “getting it done for customers” over “flashy bells and whistles for Github”Proficiency in programming (e.g., Python) and at least one machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).Strong mathematical foundation (linear algebra, calculus, statistics).Applied knowledge of AI tools and capabilities on Microsoft Azure platformKnowledge of how core algorithms (e.g. deep learning) work under the hood, so you can explain them to business stakeholders/users of your solutions and neural networks.Data preprocessing and feature engineering skills.Experience with cloud platforms and application deployment.Minimum Bachelor degree education.
