Software Developer Needed ASAP

Fully Remote to start but must sit in Ohio, Southern Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, and Tennessee, Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, Arkansas, Louisiana18 month project with potential to go permanent, they will need to relocate to Columbus, Ohio once converted fulltime as the role will be hybrid.Bachelors in computer science with 3-5 years or other equivalent combination of education and experience in software development. Proficiencies in Python, API Development. Hands on experience in Relational(Oracle, MSSQL) and Non-Relational databases(Mongo). Experience in developing interfaces, writing custom programs for SCADA/OMS/DMS/AMI applications. Experience in coding solution to automate SCADA workflows, proficiency in communication protocols like DNP3/ICCP/Modbus etc. Hands on experience in Utility Industry is preferred**Analyze logs and application/system monitors to identify potential issues proactively and create strategic plans to prevent problems.Conduct routine backups and periodic restoration tests to validate backups and ensure documented/repeatable procedures are in place for emergency restoration.Ensure the basic capabilities of OT applications, including communications, networking, databases, alarming, logging, and human interfaces, are reliably provided.Assist team and business process owners in scheduling and administering patches, updates, and server configurations to minimize downtime/unavailability of systems.

Required Skills : Scada experience working in utility. Preferred is knowledge in the distribution space. Should have experience with either ADMS, DMS, OSI, or OMS. Experience with Python, PowerShell, Or something similar.
