Your Role:As an SQL Developer at Hire SQL, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated database systems. Your role will focus on optimizing database performance, ensuring data integrity, and developing complex queries and stored procedures to support application development and data analysis needs.

Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases with a focus on performance optimization, scalability, and data integrity.Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support application development.Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements and refactor them for efficiency.Collaborate with developers and analysts to gather requirements and translate business logic into SQL.Implement data protection and security measures in database design.Manage database backups, recovery procedures, and replication processes.Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in SQL development and database management.

Technical Requirements:Profound knowledge of SQL programming and database management systems (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and using performance monitoring tools.Understanding of database schema design, normalization, and data modeling techniques.Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.Proficient with version control tools, such as Git.Knowledge of cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database) is a plus.

Experience:3+ years of experience as an SQL Developer or in a similar role.Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale database projects.Proven track record of optimizing database systems for performance and reliability.
