React Native Senior Developer

Position OverviewWe are looking for a Latin-American based full-time remote role for a React Native Senior Developer. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of a mobile application using React Native (currently on iOS). In this role, you will be responsible for taking the lead on an iOS app development, leveraging your expertise in React Native, Firebase, API management, and both front and backend development.

Responsibilities:Take ownership of the existing iOS app and lead its development efforts.Utilize React Native to implement new features and enhancements.Manage and optimize APIs for seamless data exchange between the app and backend systems.Utilize Firebase for real-time data syncing, authentication, and analytics.Identify and fix bugs, ensuring a smooth and reliable user experience.Implement best practices for scalability, performance, and security.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements:Proven experience as a Senior React Native Developer, with a strong focus on iOS app development.Proficiency in Firebase for backend services, including Firestore, Authentication, and Cloud Functions.Expertise in managing APIs, including RESTful APIs and GraphQL.Solid understanding of frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS.Experience with backend development using Node.js or similar technologies.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Agile development methodologies.Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.Familiarity with DevOps practices for CI/CD pipelines.Previous experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment.
