At our client, we're seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Director of Developer Marketing. In this position, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our client's approach to engaging and nurturing the Developer ecosystem. As a key member of the Marketing leadership team, you'll drive initiatives aimed at fostering growth, engagement, and advocacy among developers. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, you'll have the opportunity to influence strategy and lead a talented team to success.
Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Vision: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for Developer Marketing, focusing on acquisition, engagement, and evangelism within the Developer community.2. Ecosystem Insight: Gain deep insights into the Developer ecosystem, advocating internally to ensure our marketing efforts align with the needs of our developer audience.3. Program Development: Lead the creation and execution of Developer marketing programs across various channels and initiatives, with a focus on driving adoption of Developer tools and products.4. Narrative Crafting: Define and shape the Developer narrative, creating compelling stories and messaging that effectively communicate our value proposition to developers.5. Revenue Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the revenue marketing team to identify and leverage monetization opportunities that align with our client's Developer marketing efforts.6. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the organization, including partnerships, marketing, and product, to showcase our developer offerings and drive adoption.7. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of product marketers and community managers, guiding their professional development and ensuring their efforts contribute to our client's Developer Marketing objectives.
Qualifications:Analytical and Creative: Possess a blend of analytical and creative skills, with a passion for the Developer ecosystem.Experience: Minimum of 12 years of marketing experience, including at least 5 years in developer marketing roles.Passion: Deep passion for our company's mission and vision for developers.Creativity and Analytical Skills: Comfortable brainstorming big ideas while also adept at measuring program effectiveness using data-driven approaches.Expertise: Strong understanding of marketing programs, growth strategies, and methods for driving adoption.Exceptional Communication: Ability to distill complex information into concise and actionable insights.Empathy and Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to operate with empathy, agility, and flexibility in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
