Snowflake Developer

We are on the lookout for a skilled Snowflake Developer to contribute to our projects, notably with a leading client in the pharmaceutical sector. Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain cost-efficient, high-performance data models and data integrations within Snowflake, applying industry-standard data warehousing methodologies.Create and manage data pipelines utilizing Snowpipe, SnowSQL, and other relevant Snowflake technologies, ensuring seamless data flow and integration.Monitor system resources and execute performance tuning to guarantee optimal operation and cost management.Advise on the strategic use of Snowflake features to achieve cost efficiency, including warehouse optimization and credit usage monitoring.

What is needed on this role?At least 4 years of experience in SQL At least 2 years experience in SnowflakeUnderstanding of Snowflake architecture (including storage, computing and cloud services)Experience in developing relational databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) based on participation in numberous projectsHands-on experience in designing and implementing data warehouses (DWH)Experience with any ETL tool and cloud services (preferred AWS)Experience in transforming non-relation data sets (e.g. JSON, XML)
