Job Description

We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer at Clocky App Ltd to manage back-end services and facilitate data interchange between servers and users. Your primary responsibility will involve developing server-side logic, maintaining our central databases, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests. Collaboration with front-end developers to integrate their elements into applications is also essential, thus requiring a basic understanding of front-end technologies.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop efficient and scalable PHP code for server-side logic.- Design, test, and modify SQL databases, focusing on MySQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL.- Ensure optimal performance, availability, and security of applications and databases.- Integrate applications with various web services and support front-end developers in their integration efforts.- Analyze, design, and implement RESTful services and APIs.- Contribute to product design, development, deployment, and documentation.- Demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills to efficiently address requirements.

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.- Proficiency in PHP, Java, JavaScript, and JQuery.- Strong understanding of object-oriented PHP programming.- Familiarity with Git for code versioning.- Basic knowledge of C++, C, Python, and Node JS (desirable).- Understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and UX/UI fundamentals.- Knowledge of Bootstrap, Material Design, and Bootstrap Studio is desirable.- Familiarity with computer networks and preferably SQL databases such as MySQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL.- Experience with PHP frameworks like Symfony is a plus.- Graphic design fundamentals using tools like Canva, Photoshop, and Illustrator are desirable.- Fundamental knowledge of cybersecurity.- Experience in mobile application development is advantageous.- Proficient in English for effective communication.- 2-5 years of work experience or exceptional academic performance in the final year of the degree (to be confirmed with academic documents).
