Senior Full Stack Java and Angular.js Software Engineer

Senior Full Stack Developer (Java/Angular) Department: Technology Services Location: Washington, DC / Remote Flexibility Description:We are looking for a motivated Senior Full Stack Developer.

The ideal Senior Full Stack Developer will have hands-on experience working in a true Agile environment in performing basic software code tasks, across multiple teams, with a focus on development across Java as well as JavaScript frameworks. Our software engineers serve in critical roles to test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization.

As a software engineer with us, you will be responsible for the technical design, development, documentation, and engineering of software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Angular 2+ and other frameworks for web development. Your primary responsibility will be the design and development of custom Java and Angular applications that leverage a wide range of underlying data sources, including MySQL, and other relational and non-relational databases.

The successful candidate will work directly with customers, test engineers, and other team members throughout all stages of the development lifecycle to implement application enhancements. You have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You are agile and retrospective, and not afraid to identify what we are doing wrong so we can fix it, and what we are doing right so we can improve on it.

Required Skills:Clearance: Must possess an active clearance of some kind AND be a United States Citizen. This work requires a Public Trust clearance, but up to a TS can be held.Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience6+ years of experience working with Java, Spring Boot, Angular 2+Experience with Java frameworks like Struts and Spring Boot.6+ years of experience with unit and integration testing of code, with an understanding of JavaScript testing frameworks like Karma, MochaExperience with Angular 2 +, jQuery, and other JavaScript frameworksExperience with Bootstrap or other responsive, fluid design frameworksStrong knowledge and experience with HTML5 and CSS3At least one year of experience with agile development methodology, preferably SAFe or Scrum.At least one year of experience developing applications for enterprise business customersMUST have some leadership experience, Team-Lead experience or Management experience 1+ years of experience with Azure or AWS or Cloud-Native applications1+ years of experience with Keycloak or other IDM softwareClearance: Must possess an active clearance of some kind AND be a United States Citizen. This work requires a Public Trust clearance, but up to a TS can be held.

Desired Skills:Experience with automated build tools, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD)Experience with JIRA or Redmine Agile Lifecycle Management softwareExperience with development and deployment into cloud environmentGood oral and written communications skills with experience in delivering/presenting to the customer are a plus.SAFe certificationOther related experience with fielded systems and mission/system operations along with system sustainment for high system availability requirements a plus
