Java - PL/SQL Developer

Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug very complex Oracle Forms, Java and database applications.

Responsibilities

Our successful candidate will be technically adept in software development, possessing a broad combination of skills and experiences, and does not mind rolling up his/her sleeves to make the team successful. This role requires that you be technically curious with a strong desire to understand how things are built and work. This role also requires a forward-thinking openness to new technologies and approaches while remaining vigilantly focused on regulatory strength and maximum availability.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and proceduresProvide expertise in the development of new products / services / processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology.Perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing, and debugging of software applications or operating systems.Drive a customer-first culture that keeps the customer at the forefront of decision makingLead a holistic and integrated approach to providing data integrity, information confidentiality, and service availability.Define and monitor performance indicators.

Ideal Experience

BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience3+ years of in-depth knowledge of Core Java and J2EE development3+ years of experience SQL and Oracle PL/SQLExperience in REST APIs and JavaScript-based UI developmentRelational Database knowledge is advantageousGood knowledge and experience in architecture and designing of complex applicationsExperience designing solutions with security and high performing applicationsExperience in architecture, engineering, deployment, and operational managementStrong technical acumen; creativity; interpersonal skills; emotional intelligenceKnowledge of common web application and mobile frameworksDemonstrated expertise in bringing applications to Cloud (optional)

US: Hiring Range: from $74,800 - $178,200 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
