So what will you be doing with us?

We are hiring a Salesforce Lead Data Migration Developer to join our team and ensure the successful transfer of data into Salesforce from various sources. Your primary responsibility will be to analyse, map, and transform data while maintaining its quality and integrity. Proficiency in Salesforce data migration processes and tools such as SQL and ETL are essential. Experience in Salesforce API's and Data Modelling is also a must have. The Data Migration Specialist is responsible for executing complex data migration services that meet the diverse data needs of our clients. This will include but is not limited to: extracting, transforming, and loading large and disparate data sets .Communicating these complex processes in a simple way to clients, together with managing stakeholders is important in this role.

ResponsibilitiesAnalyse and evaluate data from source systems, identifying data cleansing and transformation requirements.Map data from source systems to Salesforce objects and fields using effective data mapping strategies.Extract data from diverse sources, maintaining data integrity and completeness through SQL queries ETL tools.Load data into Salesforce using tools like Data Loader, Talend, Mulesoft, DBAmp, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.Validate and reconcile migrated data with the source data using SQL and SOQL queries.Use technical skills, industry knowledge and custom tools to efficiently perform data analysis to review source data quality.Work directly with client technical resources and implementation teams to effectively coordinate each migration project to completion.Monitor all work for quality while troubleshooting and resolving errors as necessary.Create and articulate innovative strategies and plans for complex data needs.Collaboration in communicating process successes/failures to internal and external stakeholders to identify potential areas of improvement.

Experience and Expectations5+ years of experience in Salesforce data migration projects or similar roles involving data migration.Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, objects, fields, relationships, and data migration best practices.Proficiency in data analysis, mapping, cleansing, and transformation techniques.Familiarity with one or more ETL Tools (e.g. Talend, DBAmp(SQL Server), Mulesoft etc).Ability to analyze complex requirements, troubleshoot issues, and propose effective solutions.Attention to detail to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards.Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.Proficient in SQL, experience with SQL Server, and understanding of data relationships and objects within a RDBMS.Experience working with various data stores (CSV, XML, JSON, etc.)Strong problem-solving mentality.Adept client-facing communication skills.Demonstrates a strong work ethic and high level of personal integrity.Works well in a team environment.Excellent time and project coordination skills.
