ResponsibilitiesCollaborates with other engineers and client-facing employees to evaluate application software and system requirements according to architecture standards (e.g. new features, enhancements, or maintenance).Performs application development, testing, and troubleshooting according to specifications in an efficient and cost-effective manner.Maintains and documents application source code using version control, wikis, and internal knowledge bases. This includes issue status tracking and documenting the resolution for future use.Participates in reverse engineering of various data formats, often at the binary level.Engages in code reviews and process improvements.Follows proper handling of sensitive data according to security policies.Reduces occurrences of vulnerabilities through proper secure coding practices and a "Security by Design" mindset.Other duties as assigned

This is a salaried, exempt position that requires a 45 hour minimum work week and available for a prescheduled on-call shift for 12-24 hour as business needs dictate. Prospective software developers will have flexible hours, the ability to work from home, and other telecommuting opportunities. Other benefits include a 401k 3% guarantee and vision/medical/dental insurance.QualificationsHands-on experience with technologies such as SSMS, AWS Glue, Visual Studio CodeFamiliar with DevOps related technologies like Ansible, Chef, Terraform, etc.Experience as a developer throughout the full software development lifecycle.Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

We're looking for someone with 1-3 years of experience in software development with a general purpose programming language, has a BS degree in computer science or a similar area.
