Expert Golang Developer

Ciklum is looking for an Expert Golang Developer to join our team full-time in the Czech Republic.We are a custom product engineering company that supports both multinational organizations and scaling startups to solve their most complex business challenges. With a global team of over 4,000 highly skilled developers, consultants, analysts and product owners, we engineer technology that redefines industries and shapes the way people live.About the roleAs an Expert Golang Developer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. Together, we will work on the project that aims to power loyalty programs for some of the largest global Retail, QSR, Airline, Grocery, and Gasoline merchants. The platform handles nearly half a billion API calls a day – with a global footprint in four AWS regions. Responsibilities:Lead a team of Golang developersDevelop advanced services of cloud network solutionsMaintain high-performing, scalable and testable codePeer reviewing, collaborative programmingBack-end development to meet customer’s business needs and implement components according to modern software development environment (cloud-based platforms, microservice architecture, etc.)Taking part in the decision-making process in design application architecture, solution development, architecture and code reviewDevelop and review feature design documents and provide inputs/update to specifications for the solutionDesign and implement a set of various types of tests (unit, integration, functional, etc)Proactive position in solution development, processes improvementsWorking in an international distributed team in an Agile environmentCommunicate with PMs, engineers, Architects, QA and other colleagues and stakeholdersDelivering the product roadmap and planningsTo use high coding standards, software best practices and write highly testable, automatable and performant code over the whole SDLC

Requirements:Experience in software development for more than 10 yearsExcellent knowledge and experience in Golang (more than 5 years)Experience leading and mentoring developer teamsExcellent knowledge of Computer Science, Computing Theory:Paradigm & Principles (OOP, SOLID, TDD, BDD)Database theory (RDBMS, NoSQL)Code testing practicesAlgorithms and Data StructuresArchitectural, Enterprise, and Design PatternsMicroservices architecture, SOAAutoscaling, monitoring, and alerting approachesSecurity patterns, Common attack types (OWASP)Understanding of network interactions:protocolsconventions (e.g. REST, RPC)authentication and authorization flowsstandards and practices (e.g. oAuth, JWT)Practical commercial experience with:Microservices architectureREST API developmentRDBMS (e.g PostgreSQL)Key-value storages (e.g. Redis, Memcached)Messaging systems (e.g. RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, Active MQ, Google Pub/Sub)Version control systems (GIT)Cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)Linux Development; Additional Windows experience is a plusDesigning, implementing, and maintaining scalable fault tolerant low latency, high throughput OLTP platformsExperience with:Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, or CDK)Troubleshooting, profiling and debugging applicationsCreation of software architecture and design of complex applications, platforms, microservices solutionsFluent or Upper-Intermediate EnglishYou can:Perform a broad range of complex technical or professional activities, in a variety of contexts.
