Job Details:

As a WordPress PHP Developer at Wingify, your key role is to lead our WordPress site development and maintenance and create custom solutions with others tools for Marketing team. You'll create custom plugins and themes, optimize performance, and guarantee smooth user experiences on all devices.

Responsibilities:Custom Functionality: Building custom functions and pluginsDocumentation and Best Practices: Keeping detailed documentation and adhering to best Work closely with marketing and design teams to ensure the website functionality aligns with marketing goals and design visionsKeep the WordPress core and plugins up to date to maintain site security and performanceSeamlessly connect the website with platforms like Marketo, Salesforce, and HubSpot to leverage customer interactions and data for personalized marketing campaigns and streamlined sales processesCrafting, customizing, managing, and integrating endpoints within the WordPress REST API and connecting with 3rd services to enhance website functionalityTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during website development and maintenanceStay updated with the latest WordPress trends and advancements in PHP development to implement state-of-the-art features.

Must have qualifications:3–4 years of experience as a WordPress PHP DeveloperExperience with Git/SVNStrong understanding of PHP programming language, including object-oriented programming principlesGood knowledge of JavaScript for front-end developmentFamiliarity with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)Experience designing and developing responsive design websitesExperience with working with relational databases (MySQL) is a mustExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsExceptional communication and collaboration skillsA passion for innovation and a drive to deliver high-quality work

Good to have skills:Experience with Jenkins Docker, Google Tag ManagerWordPress' security best practices knowledgeAuthentication and Security: Ensuring secure access to the WordPress REST API.Experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP or AWS) is a plusPerformance Optimization: Optimize website performance for fast loading times, contributing to a seamless user experience.
