Salesforce LWC Developer (Service Cloud) - Remote

Job descriptioniTalent Digital is seeking a Salesforce Service Cloud Engineer with strong development expertise in Lightning Web Components (LWC) to join our CX/EX Practice Group. This is a remote role for a client based in Silicon Valley. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to continue to cultivate your skills and domain expertise. The Salesforce Service Cloud Engineer will help implement new Salesforce Service Cloud initiatives, collaborate on new technical and optimization strategies, and support the technical facilitation of Customer Service efforts. We are looking for candidates who have experience configuring and deploying production features, optimizing performance, and fixing production issues in Service Cloud. You will be working within a team of developers and business stakeholders to develop, extend and maintain Service Cloud.The individual selected will be instrumental in helping us continue to deliver excellence to our base of technology clients. You will be joining a family of other SMEs who have also specialized within this sector. You will also interact closely with our iTalent Practice Directors, who will partner with you and provide ongoing coaching and mentoring. iTalent Digital offers medical benefits, 401k, paid holidays and more.

Responsibilities:Build, extend and support both new and existing features on Salesforce Service CloudEnsure production implementations are scalable, observable and durableWork with Product Owners and business stakeholders to understand end-user requirements, formulate user stories and then translate those into pragmatic and effective technical solutions.Work closely with onsite and remote frontend, backend and operations engineers to ensure deliverables are well-documented, secure and resilient.

Required qualifications and skills2+ years implementing production ready features on Salesforce Service CloudStrong understanding and experience with configuration and development of Apex, Apex Triggers, Apex Actions, Web Services, SOQL SOS, LLighting Aura/LWC Frameworks and Visual ForceMinimum of Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (II preferred)Strong understanding of Salesforce development best practices, data modeling, design patterns and design limitationsHands on experience with Salesforce Workflow Rules, Flows and Process BuilderStrong understanding of REST/SOAP APIsUnderstanding of integration approaches and tools (Salesforce Connect, Data Loader)Experience with Salesforce dashboards and reportsStrong understanding of HTML and CSSExperience with version control (Git) and continuous integrationExperience working in an agile environment

EducationComputer Science Degree or equivalent is preferred.
